I don’t believe in the concept of race.
We are all one human race.
What I do believe in is ancestry.
I will never ask someone what their “race” is.
I will ask someone “Where do your ancestors come from?”
And if you go back far enough, we are all family, we all come from the same first ancestors.
I don’t consider people “white” or “black” etc.
My ancestors come from Ireland, Italy, England, possibly other places as well.
Where you came from, who you came from, is a gift from God.
If you look in the Old Testament books of the Bible, you will read a lot of geneologies. Your ancestry is important.
In two of the Gospels, the ancestry of Jesus is recorded in His geneology. In Jesus’ ancestry, there were great good people. There were evil people in His ancestry.
You are a gift from God. How you got here on this earth is important.
There is no race. We have unique ancestries, but when you go back far enough, we are all children of the same original parents, and we are all children of God.
